Blue Sapphire Media was formally founded in 2019 by a group of passionate people who have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge over the years, and we came together to build a business with a difference. We are energised and empowered by supporting local businesses and thoroughly enjoy being part of the ‘journey to success’ for new businesses.
We are based in Plymouth, Devon and are very fond of the South West coast… this is where our journey began.
Where we began…
In 2017 we began an Instagram account that shared beautiful featured images from all over Devon and Cornwall. By 2019 we had reached over 19,000 followers, most of whom are local, some have emigrated or others who simply enjoy or plan to visit Devon and Cornwall. This adventure is still in progress…

In 2018 it was announced that a local music venue that we loved, was due to close down. Then only a few months later, another. Then weeks later, a yearly festival released they were also struggling to keep up with inflation rates. So we set about creating a platform where music and festival lovers such as ourselves could discover all types of festivals and venues to attend!
